Introduction
My primary academic training is based on philosophy, with a particular interest in the theory of interpretation, knowledge theory, continental contemporary philosophy, meta philosophy, and digital culture. I have also been rather concerned in practical philosophy and possible applications of speculative discourses in contemporary anthropology (visual, digital, rural anthropology and knowledge transfer as well). I am a researcher in Social Sciences with the Romanian Academy - Iași Branch, coordinator of the department of Discursive Digital Technologies. I am a member of the interdisciplinary research group known as Rural Development Research Platform.

The current enterprise would sooner attempt and come up with a speculative text rather than a critical one. Having as a starting points several cases of the absent character (such as Colombo’s wife, Socrates’s wife, Godot, the tartars of lieutenant Drogo, the imaginary friends of children and others) the interest rests mainly on the direct effects...

In the case of the Romanian urban consumer, ecological agroalimentary products do not merely operate on the discursive line mapped by the rules of certification. The ecology of the agroalimentary products is reinterpreted and, thus, an interesting phenomenon occurs. The products perceived as natural, local, or peasant are seen as ecological enough...

In Romania, there is an emerging market of dairy products delivered through short food supply chains. Although this distribution system has existed since the communist period, and even though more than three decades have passed since then, the market fails to be mature, subject to taxation, or achieve a high diversity in terms of dairy categories,...

The small entrepreneurship on the Romanian food market is facing a series of concerns closely connected to the particular issues of an emerging economic sector. The entrepreneurial reactions are, quite often, intuitive, fall within a relation with the consumer which has been historically shaped in the zone of merchant behaviour, and barely employ d...

The present paper intends to address the impact of COVID-19 crisis upon the consumer buying behavior of fresh vegetables directly from local producers as observed 30 days later, after enforcing the state of emergency in Romania within a well-defined area, namely, the quarantined area of Suceava. The study relies on the interpretation of answers rec...

A discursive field of the relation between human and animal has been in place since we had a religious, artistic, historical, political and even philosophical relation with the reality. The Animal has always been our partner “in crime” when attempting to understand nature and symbolical systems. Nevertheless, it has always been about a peripheral t...

Should you attend to the relevant published literature on perceptions belonging consumers of ecological products, it can be easily noticed that, as a rule, the interpretation insists heavily on the analysis of an error: the consumer’s confusion about the ecological product. The official concept of an ecological product does not overlap with the ide...

For the past 15 years, mostly in the context of raising the financing volume for the rural environment, the number of rural boarding houses has been expanding exponentially. Question
I want to give the possibility of a DOI code for any article published in the journal I edit and I do not know how to do it. Thank you for your insight.
Question
We would like to index ISI Proceedings an anthrozoology conference and its volume. But we can not find guidance to do it. Thank you for your answers.
Question
I am working on a study about the difference between the paradigm of the author and the paradigm of the scholar in knowledge transfer. Can you suggest me any references about what is an author or what is a scholar? Thank you.
Question
The Romanian Senate has submitted a controversial law, to say at least, for promulgation to the president of Romania. This particular law forbids the educational activities promoting the idea that gender identity is different from the biological sex. On the basis of this law, if promulgated, chances are this could even possibly lead to forbidding gender studies in educational spaces. In this case scenario, one of the most serious matters is that us, the Romanian people, could not imagine such a thing happening in our own country.
My question is, have you encountered similar examples of political census on the scientific and educational activity in your country? Do you consider you are living in a society which cannot go back to such practices? And, finally, what is the resilience of scientific research to political census?
Question
In this time of crisis, many of us have been forced to carry out our research or educational activities at home. Does this style of work suit you better? Can online collaboration be compared to face-to-face collaboration? Do you intend to work more from home in the future?
Question
Many researchers consider Facebook as an inappropriate social media for networking in the academic community. Please let me know your opinion and share your experience concerning this issue.
Question
Even if photography has claimed itself, so far, as a technique, art, occupation, social gesture, little were the attempts of building a theory of photography. Even fewer were the ventures to problematize the concept of photography. Regarding the question “What is photography?”, the interpretative efforts were scarce and came from rather farther domains, such as philosophy or sociology. Hence, an idea came into being, namely that it is senseless to ask ourselves what is photography. Under the circumstances, my question is the following: is there a meaning in the discussion about what is photography? Can we ever build an unified theory of a concept on photography which can reply to the answer “What is photography?”
Question
The conventional agriculture has the monopoly on what concerns the policies and strategies about food security. When we address the issue of food provision of a community, it is difficult to ignore the role played by the conventional agriculture. On the other part, the ecological agriculture holds the monopoly on matters such as strategy and policy development on food security. Healthy food is the basic principle of ecological agriculture. If you agree with these interpretations, I would like you to ask the following: are there compromise solutions between these types of approach on food production? How could they both co-exist on an equal footing? Is it an economic issue? Is it a matter of strong political implications? Is it about education and culture? Is it a matter of generation mentality?

Food for Iași Living Lab is designed as an innovative collaborative hub whose main purpose is to connect actors and agents in the urban food system of Iași in order to identify the most important problems of the system and find innovative solutions to solve these problems and to develop sustainable local development. One of the main reasons is our desire to improve the quality of life, based on the idea of healthy alimentation and the support and promotion of local mechanisms for sustainable production and food consumption. The city of Iași has significant strengths to increase its economic growth and the quality of life for all its citizens.
Project
Co-creating Resilient and Sustainable Food Systems towards FOOD2030. Cities can build sustainable food systems to prevent and reduce food waste, provide decent livelihood opportunities and promote sustainable ways of food production. Cities can also ensure food and nutrition security for all. The EU-funded CITIES2030 project will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, civil society leaders, cities and all agents of urban food systems and ecosystems (UFSE) to create a structure focussed on the transformation of the way systems produce, transport, supply, recycle and reuse food. A digital twin of the entire system will be created using a blockchain-based data-driven UFSE management platform. The project’s goal is to create a future-proof and effective UFSE via a connected structure focussed on the citizen and built on trust, with partners encompassing the entire food system.
