We are preparing special collection of articles for the Sustainable Organizations section of the Frontiers in Sustainable Production journal. The aim of the newly launched research topic is to reflect on sustainability transitions on a regional level, the diverse actors and learning processes and their transformative impact on practices, policies and shared visions for the future. The role of education is specifically stressed. The abstract deadline is 21 June, 2021 and the manuscripts are welcome till January 2022!

Die AG Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) leistet einen Beitrag zur Umsetzung des UNESCO «Weltaktionsprogramms Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung» (Global Action Programme, GAP). Dies hat zum Ziel, BNE in allen Lernbereichen zu implementieren. Der Fokus der AG BNE liegt auf der Implementierung von BNE in Hochschulen. Wir bearbeiten als «reflektierende Praktikerinnen und Praktikern» folgende Fragestellungen im interdisziplinären Austausch mit anderen Experten resp. Praktikerinnen: Welche Kompetenzen sind im Hinblick auf eine nachhaltige Entwicklung und eine gesellschaftliche Transformation zentral? Wie sollen/können diese an Hochschulen gefördert werden? Dies betrifft die Didaktik, verschiedene Stakeholder sowie die Organisation. Wie kann «transformativem Lernen» für BNE eingesetzt werden? Unser Anliegen ist es, theoretisch-fundierte und praxistaugliche Beiträge auf Basis eines konstruktivistisch-systemischen (Bildungs)-Verständnisses zu generieren und gezielte Impulse für den BNE Diskurs in der Schweiz und Europa zu geben.
