Question (1)
I want to measure the total surface area of the anode of an SOFC using BET method. Therefore i need to remove the cathode from the electrolyt (dense 3YSZ) to not measure its surface as well. I can probably remove some of the cathode manually with grinding. I'm looking for an etching process to remove the entire porous cathode and end up with a nicely smooth electrolyt surface.
