Introduction
Claudia currently works at the Department of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Environmental Sustainability, Università di Parma. One of her main research interests is the systematic study of the crystal and molecular structure of compounds containing interesting building blocks able to form novel structural architectures. She is now studying the preparation and characterization of functional nanostructured materials useful for preserve, strengthen and protect artifacts against biotic and abiotic degradation, and for the treatment of organic and inorganic pollutants. These materials include: (i) differently functionalized hybrid polyamidoamines, (ii) Selenium doped titanium dioxide, (iii) modified crystalline nanocellulose for the conservation of lignocellulosic materials.
