Introduction
My research interests centre around understanding mechanisms of physiological adaptation to different environments, including local genetic adaptation and environmentally induced variation (plasticity). My PhD project aims to characterise the thermal tolerance of the intertidal periwinkle Littorina saxatilis in the context of local adaptation across both latitudinal and vertical (shore height) gradients.
