I are currently investigating Parental Understanding of Autism (ASD) in relation to the Individual Characteristics of their Children with Autism. As a part of the wider project I aim to develop an evidence-based tool that will provide a clear outline of the child's strengths, abilities, and unique characteristics, along with the traditional clinical descriptors about autism, that will inform parents’ decisions about intervention strategies and improve ways in which they can manage their child's challenging behaviors and have a good quality of life.
