In this thesis, I explore the role of mindfulness practices in public administrations and their potential contribution to organizational development of towards sustainability. How does mindfulness practice, individual practice and practice in small groups, influence the culture and activities of public administrations? Guided by Ken Wilber's integral theory framework, I conducted six semi-structured interviews and one focus group talk with a) people who work in public administrations and practice mindfulness on a regular basis, and b) mindfulness teachers in the field of sustainability.
