Introduction
Besides working at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, I am the Founding Director of the TransMIT-Project Division for Parasite Research (www.transmit.de; christoph.grevelding@transmit.de)
This project division uses estabished parasite models for the recovery of parasite tissue for basic research but also for clinical/diagnostic purposes. Furthermore, established in vitro models (Schistosoma mansoni) are used for applied research aspects.
