Introduction
Dr. Christine Elizabeth Kaestle currently works at the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Virginia Tech. Dr. Kaestle conducts research in Human Development during Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood, Development of Health Behaviors over the Life-course, Sexuality and Sexual Wellbeing, Family and Romantic Relationships, Tobacco and Alcohol Use, and Health Inequities. Her work uses a blend of advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to address pressing questions about the development of young people's behavior and their understandings of their own lived experiences, health, and wellbeing. Her most recent publication is 'Comparing levels of blood alcohol concentration and indicators of impairment in nightlife patrons'.
