Question
I have made many DNA CTAB extractions on insects but never with animal tissues. I would like to know if it is possible to store at 4 °C tissues in CTAB without lysing for a month or (I prefere) do the digestion and store lysat à -20C and then process the DNA extraction.
The question is if such a practice could damage the DNA whose will be used for NGS experiments.
