  • In context of the Josef Ressel Center for Dependable System-of-Systems Engineering we are researching Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, processes and tools to enable the development of dependable Systems and System-of-Systems (SoS). Currently our focus is put on the application domains Automotive, Industry 4.0, Smart Grid and Smart Cities. All research outcomes are integrated into different modelling toolboxes, implemented as Domain Specific Languages (DSL).

  • The aim of the Center for Secure Energy Informatics is to develop methods to sustain privacy and security in intelligent energy systems. Together with our research and company partners we are working on algorithms and architectures to make the digitalization of our energy systems more secure and privacy-preserving. The Center for Secure Energy Informatics developed from the Josef Ressel Center for User-Centric Smart Grid Privacy, Security and Control.
