Introduction
I am a political sociologist, anthropologist, researching migration and mobility, citizenship, ethnicity, gentrification, urban heritage, and political discourse. My geographic area of focus is contemporary Europe--most of my writing is on Hungary, Romania, Spain and the UK--but I have a personal interest in the Middle East and East Asia, especially Israel and Japan. I am also interested in languages, the history of ideas and existential philosophy. As a hobby I enjoy reading and writing fiction.
