Starting my PhD journey.
I am a PhD student and Gates Scholar-elect at the University of Cambridge. My research looks into the role of prosodic skills and socioeconomic status (SES) in reading comprehension among students with no underlying pathologies. It also takes account bilingualism in the context of English as an Additional Language (EAL) and it is relevant to literacy acquisition and the diagnosis of reading difficulties in students. In the past, I have worked on Computer-Assisted Language Learning and dyslexia.
