Carolyn S. Gentle-Genitty, PhD is a tenured Associate Professor at Indiana University in the School of Social Work. She conducts research on teaching human behavior theory, school absenteeism, truancy, school climate, and related factors. Her current project is establishing a field for the study of School absenteeism through a co-founded organization International Network for School Attendance (INSA) and related US partnerships.
