Introduction
Carolina B. Besoain does research in psychoanalysis, gender studies and feminist geographies. She co-founded Colectivo Trenza, a psychoanalytic organization in Santiago de Chile devoted to mixing psychoanalysis with feminism and gender studies in psychotherapeutical practice. Currently she is a postdoctoral researcher at Psychoanalytical Theory Postgraduate Program ay UFRJ with the project: “When Feminist Activism Shapes Psychoanalysis: Defiance and Appropriations in South America”.

- Since this year I direct Trenza's Clinical Network, composed of 18 psychotherapists with experience in treating patients using psychoanalysis with an intersectional approach. I also work as clinical supervisor and I give various reading seminars and clinical workshops in the crossroads of psychoanalysis, feminism, gender studies and literature. I write columns regularly in several psychoanalytic journals, such as enelmargen.com and barbarie.lat
