Introduction
Carol's research interests include nutritional care for people affected by cancer, and the complex interactions between diet, microbiome and immunity. Carol is also interested in mixed methods research in healthcare, and professional regulation in complementary medicine. Her doctoral research explored the practice of nutritional therapy with people affected by cancer. Carol is co-chair of the Research Council for Complementary Medicine and a director of British Society for Integrative Oncology
