In the knowledge society, firms need to develop competitive advantages based on an adequate and intensive use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), which is an essential element of success in today’s market.

In the context of the current crisis, companies are rethinking their relations with key stakeholders, those that make up the environments in which they operate. Thus, to meet the expectations of groups concerned about the environment, companies must have a responsible attitude to environment where they interact with it in order to maintain sustainable development. However, environmental monitoring of the various business activities is not always easy, given the many environmental aspects generated by businesses. This project proposes an innovative measurement model for environmental management which responds to current needs.
