The performance of cover songs in popular music has long been a subject of critical discussion and debate due to the artistic, social, cultural, and commercial issues that covers raise. The paper presents the phenomenon of online freelancing as a globalized labor in the new global economy (Castells, 1996) and a driver of a liquid modernity (Bauman, 2000). This demonstrates a blurring of geographical boundaries, the cutting across of cultural differences, and the rise of the importance of flexibility in terms of knowledge and skill...

I am currently writing an article involving videos of cover songs posted on social media (specifically Youtube and Facebook) and I am being asked to submit an ethics application on this.
I don't oppose this move, and I support this in fact, but I believe this kind of research will be exempted or at the most undergo expedited ethics review. However, issues such as copyright, consent and anonymity are arising as I go deeper in my preparation of the ethics application, which I think should be out of question since the video is publicly available and copyright claims should be processed by the copyright holders via Youtube and not my concern.
This does not mean that I won't acknowledge or cite the materials, of course I will. I also understand that anonymity and consent could be obtained (from whom?) if there's any risk involved (which from my perspective is none).
While there may be differences in terms of institutional, geographical and disciplinal contexts, I'd like to know your thoughts on this?

What statistics do I use if this is my problem:
What is the relationship between classroom management and leadership style of teachers along planning, leading, organizing, and controlling?
The four are areas that determine leaderships styles of teachers.
I'm confused if the question needs ANOVA or MANOVA.
Thanks for your answers.
Do we formulate a priori codes before the interview or just during the analysis? I have heard of some researches using a priori codes to come up with items for their interview guide. But most sources consider a priori codes for the coding process rather than in constructing questionnaires. Could the a priori-emergent dichotomy be applied both in questionnaire construction and in coding/analysis process?
I'm sure that this is qualitative, but what is the specific method or technique here? Should I base it from translation theories instead?
