fostering of domestic and international commercial aviation between 1925 and 1979.
Specific objectives
1. To describe the plans of action developed to endow the country with an institutionality and
infrastructure capable of permitting the operation of commercial aviation in Chile.
2. To analyze the objectives and relevant actors in the formulation and implementation of Chilean
commercial aviation policy.
3. To identify the direct, indirect and induced economic objectives, sought by the Chilean State
through the fostering of commercial aviation.
4. To evaluate the Chilean business experience in the management of its flag-carrying airline (Línea
