I have recently completed my Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo in the School of Environment, Resources, and Sustainability. Research interests include marine/freshwater ecology, conservation & restoration, specifically benthic inverts, fish, herps, marine mammals & sharks. I recently completed my undergraduate thesis examining the state of shortfin mako shark conservation in Atlantic Canada & changes necessary to return to sustainable populations.

- - Two-month contract; performed archaeological field methods (delineating the site, digging units, screening soil, identifying Indigenous artifacts) in order to determine site age and recover artifacts - Worked within a team environment which included other technicians, field directors, and Indigenous monitors from Six Nations
