Introduction
After 11 years at INRA Colmar through Interreg Projects, I got a permanent position in 2005. From 2007 to 2018 I was the leader of the “Sustainable Agriculture” research team at INRA Colmar, which is associated to a group of ENSAIA-Lorraine University in Nancy, France. My main topic is multi-criteria assessment of sustainability in agriculture. My field of interest is the assessment of cropping system impacts on water, air, soil quality, biodiversity in arable farming. I also have collaboration with the CIRAD on tropical productions (bananas, citrus). Having worked on the development of one of the French currently used environmental assessment method, the INDIGO® method, I also contributed to the development of sustainability assessment methods like MASC and DEXiPM. In parallel I developed
