Introduction
As a Queer Métis Undergrad in my final year of English Honours and Creative Writing at Mount Royal University, my current research interests revolve around exploring the healing power of poetry, particularly for Indigenous and Queer communities. My Honours Thesis delves into how poetry acts as Good Medicine, drawing from authethnographic methods, community engagement, and poetic inquiry. I am deeply passionate about Indigenous Literature, Queer Theory, and Communal Relations.
