The goal of the project is to investigate specific competencies in the public and private sectors of Serbia, identify their weaknesses and propose ways to improve competitiveness and transition from a resource-based economy to one driven by innovation.
In accordance with the development policies of the EU highlighted in the Lisbon Strategy, a conceptual research framework was determined for improving the competitiveness of the public and private sector in Serbia with an emphasis on five key research segments.
The importance of research in this project stems directly from the importance of fulfilling the economic dimension of state competence, that is, the equal inclusion of Serbia in the European and world market of goods and services.
