Introduction
Papers on human ethology: an innate perception-based outline of development & learning, a human ETHOGRAM (& critiquing current cogn. developmental theories (incl. info.-processing theories)). This Project, with its set of References (Articles and BOOKS, & Updates) is considered a full-fledged PARADIGM for Psychology: Better assumptions; stricter & better empiricism; better foundations for all cognitive processes; clear NEW observations sought (i.e. major discoveries sought) VIA NEW observation methods; & with clear empirical verifiable/falsifiable HYPOTHESES. This human ethogram perspective/theory can be considered NEW, because just recently has the technology developed (eye-tracking technology and computer assisted analysis) to allow for the investigation of the major hypotheses.

This is quite a unique position. While the review below, on E-E's Human Ethology is a largely critical (even negative) review, on the other hand: I want to note right here and now, that Eibl-Eibesfeldt's Ethology, the Biology of Behavior (second edition, 1975; in English) is a masterpiece in describing and summarizing classical ethology. That work, literally, gave me life. No bet...

Question
For a brief over-view of Ethogram Theory and my perspective and approach, in addition to Final Clear Adherances (but MUCH BRIEFER), see :
Neither summaries cover everything and the link referred to tells you less than "Final Clear Adherances" . All the writings available on RG DO TELL YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING (up to NOW)
Question
If we had a rightful, decent, wholesome regard for other sentient creatures, Jane Goodall would have a Nobel Peace Prize . There is no other way I can see it. AND, not having given her this Prize is proof perfect that we have no decent regard for other sentient animals (which is absolutely, extremely not good in several ways, even ecologically, with our own health and survival in mind). This state-of-the-human is what I would basically call "sin" (if I used that word), and the worst of it. Goodall has given, suffered, and sacrificed to save more sentient beings than about anyone (easily more that Jesus AND even more than Mother Teresa).
Question
Biologists, psychologists, behavior scientists, ethologists, scientists (thoughtful people): You must face (examine, read & process) Ethogram Theory.
You do not have to like it, you do not have to believe it, but you must face the issues and questions clearly raised and the answers offered, just to place yourself in the real world (to be in the world rationally). Why? BECAUSE: At the very worst Ethogram Theory is incredibly useful SCIENCE fiction, displaying many of the most important principles (features/aspects) of ANY SCIENCE. AND: I, of course, believe it is NOT fiction but good and true, and indeed there is NO reason, I submit, it might not be correct; PLUS, for another thing: BECAUSE IT CAN BE TESTED (verified/falsified); it also places people with their/the real Memories (I.E. in the biggest ways, placing us in-context of the actual operational ways of our Memories (memory systems) *) and places us with the other sentient beings of the world.
* FOOTNOTE: [ ( The Memories (systems) ARE one's phenomenology itself, by THE agreed-upon definitions of the Memories .) ]
P.S.
To provide some options for beginning, the following message should have been posted HERE (as well as the other places):

Question
Without a near uniformity of commitment to individual behavior patterns of a certain sort (see THESE described, "below", VIA LINK), we will need MORE : BUT (for a good perspective): First, let's review Best Individual Behavior Patterns: (click the link to see such described) :
NOW, by "MORE" (above, in my opening statement), I surely do NOT mean miracles NOR faith in what isn't because obviously such "faith" and beliefs ABSOLVE RESPONSIBILITY AND promote irresponsibility. RATHER than, and other than, truly blind faith WE WILL NEED __ REAL LEADERS __ !!
Here is something that will help us get that leadership (and I can think of nothing else that will):
SERIOUS PURSUIT OF THE Major Topic Issue: Separation of Church/State VIA
Lawsuit: "Atheists and the People VS the United States"
Many have realized for a LONG time that many criminal behaviors are very notably or seriously aided by formalized religions; this is NOT a "matter of faith" of mine (or others), but a rational conclusion, WAY BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT about such "contributions" of religions; ALSO (and this is clearly beyond a reasonable doubt), many know of the thought-"less-bad" behavior patterns which ARE extremely damaging results of religions. While not codified in LAW as "criminal", these behavior patterns ARE OFTEN JUST AS SERIOUS as major criminal actions (or more so)(of course, including harmful intentional inaction); AND much of this is, IN EFFECT, CRIMINAL AND THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED CRIMINAL (in legal code). Now, our elected officials are AWASH in PROMOTING the nonsense of religion, which then "makes less" of both common sense and of reason itself -- including the VERY REASON we need for action NOW to even survive as a species (along with all the other great sentient ones).
Question
How Artificial Intelligence (AGI) People could REALLY Provide a Public Service
I have no doubt that it would be possible to completely simulate certain political people: the gestures, the repeated phrases and sentences they use, AND their responses -- all that together (and contingently).
Having that would provide the basis for clearer and more in-depth knowledge of what actually constitutes the presentation of a political figure they like. SOME persons would, no doubt, be easier to near-fully (or completely) simulate (OR reproduce).
This would help people see and realize what it is that attracts them to some political persons. As such, AI/AGI persons making such AGI machines would be providing a great public service. Plus, AI/AGI persons would also find doing this very rewarding (fun)(and, perhaps, instructive).
I have no doubt, or little doubt, that sophisticated General Artificial Intelligence people could do this. "Godspeed", as some say.
Question
Discussion. The Boundaries of Meaning
Question
Are there important processes needed for higher levels (abstract levels) of thinking which are initially NOT due to any usual thinking but to perceptual shifts? I say indeed there could be and I have good reasons to believe there very likely are. AND, most importantly : Ethogram Theory allows for this. LET ME ELABORATE: These perceptual/attentional shifts need not be anything one (a Subject) is clearly aware of AS SUCH. AND:
A major problem with Psychology nowadays (and STILL) is that it is not "geared" to discover and find or "see" such things * -- thus it is strongly (and wrongly) assumed that none exist (and such things are effectively disallowed by/for Psychologists for basic conceptualizations). Psychologists basically force themselves to not be real scientists. And, I have just described ONE BIG WAY.
* FOOTNOTE: I "see" a way perceptual shifts may have (actually: be) clear, concrete, overt, directly observable PATTERNS in behavior -- basically the Subject itself defining what such PATTERNS there are. Also there would be concrete, clear aspects of the situations or circumstances involved (i.e. of the true environment (fully and properly contextualized)).

Project
Psychology (& PSYCHOLOGY Researchers/Theorists): If you don't always meaningfully speak in terms of BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, you offend yourselves, Biology, Darwin, & science (and empiricism), and communication, itself. [(Of course key actual-in-phenomenology important (KEY) aspects of circumstances (corresponding to the very key behavior PATTERNS) are always associated -- aka environmental aspects)]. And, to be a science ALL CONCEPTS, CONSTRUCTS and ALL THE LANGUAGE used in Models must relate to behavior patterns which, AT LEAST at their beginning, their inception/their "start", MUST BE CLEARLY AND AGREEABLY (replicable): FOUNDED OR GROUNDED OR STARTING WITH OBSERVABLE, OVERT BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, in clear definable circumstances (with centrally important (key) environmental aspects) -- in a clear way corresponding to any noted behavior PATTERNS -- OR WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT SCIENCE. BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, always; key clearly associated environmental aspects, always; and agreeable (replicable) findings (of behavior patternings and environmental aspects) ALWAYS: with NO MODEL not equally clearly founded in terms of JUST these very BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, ETC. Tell me how the field could possibly be correct (a real science) without all this? This is nothing more than the absolute minimum standards for all science (though "behavior patterns" would be replaced with the word: "phenomena" in other sciences). Just your "aping" of a isolated method(s) is NEVER SCIENCE; it is NEVER SCIENCE just when that is want you want (but apply to it as a pretender). For the WAY **, see: Learn a empirical paradigm for PSYCHOLOGY (heretofore pre-paradigmatic): Read : https://www.researchgate.net/post/Not_Psychology_for_Psychology_but_open_tough_thorough_true_fully_phenomenologically-based_real_empiricism_for_all_explanations_and_understandings and the Answers following that Discussion Question for elaborations/clarifications. Project
Eliciting and soliciting analytic philosophers to see if they can see the full SET of core problems I see with most psychology theory (including both major core assumptions and RELATED bad thinking) and with related perspectives, approaches, and research. Then, also, assess the merits and place of my proposals for assumptions and perspective, generating an essentially new but extremely appropriate type of psychology theory and associated research (including the specific testable hypotheses provided). In fact, this new approach can be readily seen as providing NECESSARY changes in psychology -- really treating core central behavior patterns (all important general species-specific and species-typical behavior [patterns]) AS DEFINITIVELY BIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONING -- which undeniably it must be. This new Project, is especially for those having Philosophy as a profession (or sought profession) and for philosophy graduate students : those seeking to be analytic philosophers -- working philosophers, actually striving to do some of the important work of/for others. Interests must include: psychology, good science of behavior (not so much of "mind"), biology (including behavioral aspects, e.g. human ethology, ethogram) AND human cognitive development (ontogeny). Plus you must like and be good to this author, minimally to the extent of being: understandably on-the-subject and positively (affirmatively) useful -- all in ways one likely will readily be able to see. If the "above" well-describes you, no need to "apply", just apply yourselves. Thanks.

[ Also: SEE the PROJECT LOG (and keep up on Updates there). ] Developing a Usable Empirically-Based Outline of Human Behavior for FULL Artificial Intelligence: as long as the perspective provides direction to empirical referents for everything and is clear about how the relationships between units can be seen THEN this indeed is doable -- at least, in any case, this is how you start. This all would represent an advance in empiricism for Psychology too. Be sure to GO TO the Project Log (Updates) of this Project, for full perspective.
