Psychologist in Primary Health Care Settings, Santa Clara, Cuba (1998-2007). Associate professor at the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu"de Las Villas, Santa Clara, Cuba (2007-2015). My doctoral research focused on the study of food cravings. My current research is focusing on developing apps to promote healthy eating, preventing eating disorders and food addiction.

PlaniFive es un Programa de Salud y Bienestar que se enfoca en promover un estilo de vida saludable. Cuenta con una App que permite planificar una alimentación ajustada a las necesidades nutricionales de cada individuo Bajo el slogan "¡Alimentación conCiencia y Diversión!" cuenta con un sistema visual amigable que facilita la interpretación de la información al usuario. Usando las dimensiones su mano y sentido común, el usuario puede calcular el tamaño de la porción de los alimentos. De igual forma, puede incluir sus propios menús y guardarlos. También ofrece consejos para controlar el ansia por la comida y llevar un estilo de vida saludable. Para personalizar las sugerencias que se ofrecen al usuario, evaluamos su bienestar psicológico, indicadores de salud y valores.
