Основната цел на проекта е създаване и изграждане на модерна научноизследователска инфраструктура в ИУ – Варна, която да улеснява събирането и проследяването на дейността на всеки научен работник. Проектът се фокусира върху проектирането и изграждането на уеб базиран регистър за научните достижения на кадрите от Икономически университет – Варна. Регистърът е интегриран със съществуващата система за публикационната дейност.Позволява събиране на информация за научноизследователската работа на всеки преподавател, както и регистриране на цитиранията на учени от университета.
Чрез уеб базирания регистър може да се проследява научноизследователска дейност на отделните звена и на университета като цяло. Той предоставя ясен измерител за напредъка и ефективността на взетите решения на локално и глобално ниво в зависимост от избран период.
