Followed the computer-assisted writing of three prekindergarten children for two semesters. At the beginning of the year, the children exhibited preliterate levels of writing ability and limited reading skills. I am having four and five year olds in our lab school evaluate their progress on goals they have determined for themselves. They are successfully doing this. I want to read more about children self-recording. Any suggestions?
