Introduction
Birgit Reissland currently works as Senior Researcher at the Cultural Heritage Laboratory of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands. My field of research covers heritage on paper and related materials, I am especially interested in aspects of technical art history of written and drawn heritage. Currently my colleagues and I work on drawings of Vincent van Gogh and Rembrandt, developing scientific models that explain how drawings were created and how they change(d) over time.
