Ове активности подстичу учење и мотивацију код предшколске деце, ако васпитачи правилно артику...

The title of the paper:
The importance of specially trained kindergarten teachers for making a suitable environment for the peer acceptance of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Abstract: The objective of this research was to examine whether the professional competencies of kindergarten teachers trained for work with children with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can have a positive effect on the peer acceptance of these children in a regular kindergarten. The research sample included 65 preschool children of chronological ages from 6 to 7. The subjects attended three different educational groups in kindergartens in the North Banat region of Serbia. In each of the three groups there was one child with ASD. In the first experimental group (N=25) the educational process was realized by a kindergarten teacher trained and prepared to work with children with ASD. In the other two control groups (K1 and K2) the educational program was conducted by two kindergarten teachers who were not additionally trained to work with children with ASD. Research findings suggest the existence of significant statistical differences in social competencies – peer acceptance of children with developmental disabilities under the care of a trained kindergarten teacher (F (2.62) = 45.654, p = .000, η = .596). The subjects from the experimental group have shown a statistically significantly higher level of social competencies in accepting their peer with ASD than the subjects from the control group according to all researched parameters: t(65) = -5.492, p = .000, η = .933. These results indicate that the training of a kindergarten teacher can significantly affect not only the peer acceptance of children with ASD, but the pro-social behaviour of all children in the kindergarten as well.
