Question
I am closely following the situation in Ghent / Belgium and I would be interested to hear how science/government deals with this extra endangered group in times of 'Lockdowns'.

Question
Dear fellow researchers ;
A friend of mine is currently investigating how he can bring local youths with various psycho-social issues together by music. More specifically : he's aiming to see if local houses for youth can be used to encourage them to make hip hop, rap or other music.
This to encourage them to get off the streets, stay away from drugs, bad peers etc.
I'm looking for your very valued opinions on this topics and I am definitely interested in any research concerning this topic.
Best regards
Bert

Question
Dear Colleagues ,
I am doing research in the field of psychopathic personality disorder and possible ways of reintegrating them better in soceity after a criminal offence or offering additional 'desistance' factors so they wont commit to a criminal act.
In Belgium there was recently a telephone line opened for people whome had issues with feelings of pedosexual nature. This was intended for people who had not commited a crime that was not yet investigated by the police or court. Mostly as a mean of desistance.
Obviously it is hard for people who fight with these feelings to talk to other people about it , even a specialist face to face is a big step.
I personally believe that these kind of alternative desistance modus operandi are a good thing, however I would like to support them with statistical proof wether they are indeed efficient or not.
Can somebody refer to me to any studies that investigate these types of ideas?
Any comments are welcome,
Greetings,
Bert
Question
Dear colleagues,
In a current research concerning the psycho-therapeutic and neurological treatments for the so called dark triad.
I am searching for specialists of all kinds, lawyers who have been in defence of people with these disorders, psychologists, psychiatrists, criminologists, ...
I would like to get some hints on good reading material or scientific articles, also I am looking for people which whome I could perform some interviews or talks with specialists in the matter.
Also people who have the disorder themselves
Needless to say all details and information in these interviews will be classified as specified in the deontological codes and rules of an academic interviews such as Informed consent , anonymous collection of the 'end data' without any reference to people who participated , etc..
I would appreciate any information or participants.
Greetings,
Bert.
