Physical Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry

Dr. Benxin Jing is a research associate in Prof. Y. Elaine Zhu’s group at Wayne State University. His major research interest is the interaction of model cell membrane with emerging materials, including 0D to 2D nanomaterials, polyoxometalate (POM) macroions and ionic liquids, which are believed to be helpful to understand the fundamental process of selective transport of drug/gene across cell membrane and the cytotoxicity of novel materials. His another interest is the physical chemistry of POM
