Introduction
Commenced a PhD project in December 2013 on the sustainability of urban food consumption. Will develop an expanded urban-metabolism-life-cycle-assessment framework (including environmental-input-output modelling) for application to urban food systems.The project additionally endeavours to examine the environmental impacts of urban agriculture and potential gains in environmental sustainability when scaled up to the urban level.
