Introduction
Founder of Psychstudio. Online psychology experiment software for designing, creating and hosting your behavioural experiments. Designed from the ground-up with precision timing, advanced stimulus design, collaboration and sharing, and zero coding as it's core tenets. Before founding Psychstudio I worked in psychophysiology at the cyber-physical systems laboratory at CSIRO. In my former position I built everything from a gaze operated remote robotic arm (operator and arm in two different geographic areas) to software for improving EEG based detection of motor imagery by using pupillometry, to a brain computer interface for a motor imagery based neuro-motor rehabilitation device. I'm also a fairly active open source contributor. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2885-3796

For individuals with high degrees of motor disability or locked-in syndrome, it is impractical or impossible to use mechanical switches to interact with electronic devices. Brain computer interfaces (BCIs) can use motor imagery to detect interaction intention from users but lack the accuracy of mechanical switches. Hence, there exists a strong need...

The National Reference Station (NRS) network, part of Australia’s Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS), is designed to provide the baseline multi-decadal time series required to understand how large-scale, long-term change and variability in the global ocean are affecting Australia’s coastal ocean ecosystems. High temporal resolution observati...

Ongoing robotic systems are primarily under- taken by large organisations and are closed sys- tems. We describe an extension to the cloud robotics concept that encourages reuse of sen- sor data collected from robots and sensor net- works, and eases the economic and technical burden on small industry and government or- ganisations. This paper descri...

The use a small and low-cost Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), developed at CSIRO, is proposed to record data between fixed sensors with the aim of providing data sufficient to improve our understanding of the spatial extent of phenomena like the pycnocline and the effect of wind on salinity and temperature is. We suggest the spatial gap between...

The Tasmanian Marine Analysis Network (TasMAN) has been developed and deployed to help manage the multiple uses of the estuaries and coastal regions of southern Tasmania, Australia. These regions are used by industry, shipping, aquaculture and tourism operators along with commercial and recreational boaters and fishers. The network is designed to c...
