Introduction
Ben Gibb-Reid is a WRoCAH AHRC-funded PhD candidate in Linguistics at the University of York. He is currently researching the phonetic variation of discourse-pragmatic variables and their potential as speaker comparison features. Research interests include FSS, discourse-pragmatic variation, sociolinguistics and conversation analysis.
