Introduction
Beatrice Cairo received her MSc in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy in 2016 and her PhD in Integrative Biomedical Research from University of Milan, Italy in 2021. She currently works at the Laboratory of Complex Systems Modelling, IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, San Donato Milanese, Italy as a postdoctoral researcher for the University of Milan, working on the applications of advanced biomedical signal processing to the cardiovascular control system in health and pathology.
