Introduction
My research interest is employee well-being and organizational health psychology. Currently, I study procrastination behaviour at work. Procrastination is a common adult behaviour, however it has been seldomly studied. Hence, we introduce an original instrument, Procrastination at Work Scale (PAWS), to measure the idle behaviour of employeess and we aim to find empirical evidence for the association among workplace characteristics, heavy work investment, work outcomes, and procrastination.

Procrastination at work can be defined as putting off workrelated action by engaging in nonwork-related actions during work hours. Purpose
– Previous research has demonstrated strong relations between work characteristics (e.g. job demands and job resources) and work outcomes such as work performance and work engagement. So far, little attention has been given to the role of authenticity (i.e. employees’ ability to experience their true selves) in these relations. The purpose...
Occupational research often emphasizes the importance of workplace characteristics for understanding job stress and employee well-being, but the role of personal characteristics and having a good match with the job is mostly neglected. We explored how job crafting and feelings of being authentic at work were related to work engagement, work engagem...
PAWS is a valid and internally consistent tool to measure (white-collar full-time) employee procrastination behaviour.
Procrastination at work has been examined relatively scarcely, partly due to the lack of a globally validated and context-specific workplace procrastination scale. This study investigates the psychometric characteristics of the Procrastination at Work Scale (PAWS) among 1,028 office employees from seven countries, namely, Croatia, the Czech Republi...
Supervisors’ leadership styles are among the most important variables that influence employees’ work motivation.
However, in Turkey, only a limited number of studies examined the effects of leadership styles on employee motivations
and on distal work-related outcomes via their influences on these motivations. The present study aimed to examine
the...
Studies of the processes underlying question answering in surveys suggest that the choice of (layout for) response categories can have a significant effect on respondent answers. In recent years, the use of pictures, such as emojis or stars, is often used in online communication. It is unclear if pictorial answer categories can replace traditional...
The primary aim of the present study was to explore whether paternalistic or transformational leadership styles of supervisors were significantly related to workplace procrastination. Moreover, the potential mediation effects of organizational citizenship behaviors (specifically, civic virtue and conscientiousness) and turnover intention in the lin...

Soldiering is defined as engaging behaviourally or
cognitively into non-work-related activities during working hours with no intention of
harming the employer, co-workers, and/or clients. The present study will investigate
this phenomenon using the Job-Demands Resources Model. The proposed model will consider

The purpose of the present study is to find the relationship between characteristics of working life such as job demands (e.g. workload), and job resources (e.g. colleague support) and job attachments of employees, such as burnout, work engagement, and workaholism.
