An investigation was undertaken to identify sugarcane clones suitable for the identification of early maturing genotypes for higher sugar yield at Research Farm of DRPCAU, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar in Randomized Block Design with three replications during spring season 2018-19. Variability, correlation, and path analysis in twelve early maturing clon...

Abstract
Sugarcane is primarily grown in nine states of India namely; Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu. During early 19th century sugarcane cultivation started as cash crop and number of sugar factories open keeping in view a glimpses of sugarcane varietal screening and Improveme...
To study genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for cane and sugar yield attributing traits in mid-late maturing sugarcane clones
To study genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for cane and sugar yield attributing traits in mid-late maturing sugarcane clones
To study the genetic variation in the productive traits of early maturing sugarcane clones an experiment was conducted with planting of 15 early maturing sugarcane clones including two checks in Randomized Block Design with three replications during spring season 2017 at research farm of RPCAU, Pusa, Samastipur Bihar, Analysis of variances revealed...
The present paper estimate the cost and returns of sugarcane cultivation, input use efficiency and production constraints have been computed using primary data collected from 68 sugarcane growers on various aspects of costs and returns spread over two blocks in East-Champaran district of Bihar. The paper has analysed that an average sugarcane culti...
An experiment was conducted with fifteen early maturing sugarcane clones to assess the
genetic parameters for various productive traits. The analysis of variance revealed highly
significant differences among the clones for twenty one traits and significant for rest traits
viz., purity at 8 month & pol in cane at harvest. The Variability studies sho...
An experiment was conducted with 15 early maturing sugarcane clones to study the
genetic variability for yield and associated characters. The analysis of variance revealed
highly significant differences among the clones for all twenty three characters. The
Variability studies showed moderate estimates of GCV and PCV for traits viz.,
germination per...
It is essential to have basic information on the genetic nature of variation of various metric traits in plantation crops for the proper planning of breeding strategies. An experiment was conducted with 15 early maturing sugarcane clones to assess the Genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance.at RPCAU Pusa in spring 2017. The analysis o...

An investigation was carried out with the eighteen high sucrose containing
sugarcane clones to estimate the extent of variability for various productive traits
under water-logged condition. The analysis of variance revealed highly significant
differences among the clones for fourteen traits and significant for rest traits viz.,
germination % at 45...
