Introduction
Dr. Bakri Mat is an Associate Professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia's School of International Studies with over twenty years of dedication to academia. Specialising in Security and Strategic Studies sub areas such as nontraditional security and regional security issues, his research has merited multiple honours. A Research Fellow at AIIAD (SoIS) and CENTHRA, Dr. Bakri also influences policy through national committee roles such as NACCOL and contributes as an executive member of PSSM and MyISA.
