The aim of the present research is to assess the artisanal elasmobranch fishery of northern Peru. We made an effort to describe and quantify this fishery in particular, evaluating biometrics data collected and estimating CPUE of main elasmobranchs captured.
Also we characterized all fishermen operations in order to comprehend their activity.
