Introduction
Dr. Assaf Lev, Sport & Exercise anthropologist. Head of Research and a senior lecturer at the Department of Sports Therapy, Ono Academic College and at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications, Reichman University. As a former professional basketball player and current sports therapist, his research interests focus on embodied experiences of pain, exercise and physical activity, gender, and aging.
