Introduction
I have been involved in academic research since 1973 through my association with the ICHR aided journal, The Nineteenth Century Studies. My first paper on ‘Charles Dall’s Calcutta Mission’ was published in 1980. Besides many technical papers on L&Sc, I wrote a book on MARK2 Standard, and compiled global database of Early Bengalee Serials. Presently engaged since 2014 in maintaining a dedicated website, PURONOKOLKATA.COM that published above 99 research articles so far.
