This project addresses different applications for health based on speech and audio processing. In particular, we are working on: - Automatic estimation of Parkinson's disease severity - Depression detection - Automatic estimation of speech intelligibility for dysarthria speech - Cognitive load estimation
Machine learning techniques can be used for solving issues related to Emergency Department (ED) management. In particular, two problems common to most EDs of specialized care hospitals are addressed: ED census forecasting and real-time prediction of probabilities of inpatient admission for all triaged patients in the ED.
