Introduction
As a faculty member with 14 years of teaching experience in the Department of Electronics
and Communication and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Science, my research interests
are diverse, spanning from AI and ML for autonomous vehicles to Digital Image Processing,
Digital System Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Fabrication Design, and Digital
IC Design.
My research is centered on developing innovative solutions to real-world problems, and I am
particularly interested in using advanced algorithms and technologies to improve the
performance, reliability, and efficiency of electronic systems.
My recent research has focused on developing intelligent systems for traffic management and
road safety, including research on pedestrian, lane, and traffic signal detection for vision-based
car navigation. I have also explored the potential of deep learning algorithms for gesture
recognition and autonomous vehicles, with papers published on topics such as "GoogLeNet
Application towards Gesture Recognition for ASL Character Identification" and "Road
segmentation for autonomous vehicle: A review. "In addition to my work on autonomous
vehicles, I am interested in digital fabrication design, digital image processing, and digital IC
design, where my research focuses on developing new algorithms and systems to enable more
efficient and accurate digital design and fabrication.
I have received significant research funding for my work, including a grant of 14 lakhs from
VGST to establish an AI and IoT lab for problem-based learning and a coordinator for AICTE
IDEA lab, which has received funding of 1.1 cr from AICTE India.Looking forward, I am
committed to working on research that can make a meaningful impact on society and advance
our understanding of electronic systems. I am passionate about collaborating with other
researchers, students, and industry partners to develop innovative solutions to complex
problems, and I believe that my expertise and experience make me well-suited to tackle the
many challenges facing the field of electronics and communication.

In remote sensing applications, there exist numerous challenges in the classification of Hyperspectral images due to large amount of information processing which is required for classification, and the scarcity of labeled samples. Identifying the crops automatically is a key application in the Hyperspectral image analysis. In this article, we analy...
The field of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) has developed throughout the course of recent many years and has turned into a critical empowering innovation for an extensive variety of current gadgets. The integration of millions of transistors onto a single chip in VLSI design poses a significant challenge in terms of verification complexity. De...
We provide a brief review of sensors and sensor fusion in autonomous vehicles in this study. We concentrated on the camera, radar, and lidar sensor fusion from the main autonomous car sensors. The use and performance of several integrated sensors can directly impact the safety and viability of automated driving vehicles. Sensors are essential to an...
Wireless access technology is faced with opportunities and challenges due to the issue of public transportation security. V2X is a crucial component for supporting traffic flow, networked autonomous driving, and road safety. In this research, we suggest a comprehensive and systematic V2X solution for vehicular applications that is cellular-based an...
This report provides an overview of the current state of electric and autonomous trucks in the logistics industry and explores their future prospects. This also examines the benefits and challenges associated with the adoption of these technologies and discusses the regulatory and infrastructure requirements necessary for their widespread implement...
Low power must now be the main focus of circuit design. Low power is becoming an essential aspect of circuit design due to the complexity and operating speeds of modern microprocessors and the demands of portable electronic gadgets. Concerns about limited power have given rise to a variety of techniques. To overcome low power issues, numerous techn...
VLSI creates AIML applications, emphasising their impact on various stages of the design flow. The paper starts with an overview of VLSI design and its various stages, then moves on to an overview of AIML concepts and their relevance to VLSI design. The paper then delves into the use of AIML at various stages of the design process. In addition, the...
This paper discusses the use of data caching in low power memory management techniques for IoT applications. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a rapidly growing field, and as more and more devices are connected to the internet, the need for efficient memory management becomes increasingly important. Low power memory management techniques are necessar...
The development of several AI applications is made possible by the exciting endeavour of building a Raspberry Pi AI system. The Raspberry Pi board, operating systems, programming languages like Python, and machine learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch are all covered in this article as examples of the tools and methods that can be utilised...
Selection of a text characteristic is a prerequisite for text mining and information retrieval. Traditional techniques of feature extraction demand the use of custom features that must be made by hand. For new applications, deep learning allows the acquisition of new effective feature representations from training data rather than having to spend a...

For the first time in a decade, a new form of pneumonia virus, coronavirus, COVID-19, appeared in Wuhan, China. To date, it has affected millions of people, killed thousands and resulted in thousands of deaths around the world. To stop the spread of this virus, isolate the infected people. Computed tomography (CT) imaging is very accurate i...
Earth can soon witness cars that will drive themselves without any drivers, i.e., independently. In near future, the car driving will be controlled by the autonomous driving systems technology, which will adjust the speed of the vehicle and run miles together without any glitches on all types of roads. The advancement in technology is accelerating...

One of the ways to achieve high gain in microstrip antennas is by using electromagnetic band-gap (EBG) structures. Incorporating EBG in the design supresses surface waves in the antenna ground plane and also helps in obtaining a uniform field distribution. The main objective of this paper is to obtain a high gain antenna suitable for WiMAX applicat...
