Introduction
Traumatic stress can be inherited through multiple generations based on atrocities that colonized people were faced with. Music assists with the recreation of mutually interdependent cultural relationships between partitioned survivors and future generations. * عرش - The Throne of God is the reigning centre in the Abrahamic religions, called “al-'Arsh" in Islam. *خير - The word "Khair" (Arabic) refers to goodness: “Jazāk Allāhu Khaira(n)”- ”May God reward you with goodness." * www.ArshKhaira.com

Based on an extension of the traditional Jewish theological interpretations of the texts of Daniel 7 and Isaiah 53, we can develop the perceptual lens that Jesus’ role was to singularly personify the collective nation of Israel and to not only relive their history, but to carry out their ultimate destiny in a microcosm. The Jewish prophets spoke of...
Thesis
In this dissertation I explore how music can be used to assist in the process of reconciliation between the Sikhs and Muslims of East and West Punjab (respectively), who had exhibited centuries of interdependence - exemplified by the flourishing Sikh Empire, or Khalsa Raj, which encompassed the region of the Greater or Historical Punjab, including...

A detailed ethnographic work can sometimes involve first hand critical engagement with the community of study, but at times, cultural groups that have left many academics mystified are out of arms reach for personal interaction. "Reclaiming the Faravahar" is an ethnographic work on the lingering Zoroastrian community of Iran (a community inaccessib...

Traditional Christian theological interpretations view the Suffering Servant of Isaiah as an individual, messianic figure, with an inherent eschatological purpose. This traditional view proposes that the Suffering Servant of Isaiah pointed to a future messianic end of times figure, and that Jesus was the fulfillment of these prophecies. The Son of...
