The Hungarian Government decided to built an Automotive Proving Ground dedicated for the testing and validation of CAVs and electric vehicles. BME and the RECAR consortium are carriing our research projects on 5 layers to support the test track from scientific point of view. Starting with Simulation (1) continuing with Laboratory Testing (2) through the controlled and safe test environment of the Test Track (3) itself going up to Limited Public Road Testing (4) and Open Public Road Testing (5) all layers are covered within the framework of RECAR.
