Introduction
Aristidis Tsatsakis is the Director of the Department of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences, University of Crete. He is a highly cited researcher with an extensive scientific and academic impact. Among his honorary titles, he is member of National Academy of Sciences of Russia and ex-president of the European Federation EUROTOX. Apart from his substantial contribution in Toxicology, he is very actively involved in the research respecting chronic diseases, ageing and the improvement of life quality
