Question
Hi everyone. I am new to GT and my research question is “How do supervisors and students understand and experience practicum supervision” I have to look at the role of supervisors, style of supervision, and competencies required to supervise practicum programmes. I have conducted interviews with supervisors and student. I have also done line-by-line coding so far and moving towards Axial coding. However, my question is what if I can answer my research questions directly from what participants said about role of supervisor, supervision style, and competencies required to supervise practicum? Do I need to go further and do Axial and Theoretical coding?
Looking forward to have your valued comments, please.
