Introduction
Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry/CCB/UFSC, Brazil. Research focuses on cellular and molecular mechanisms of hormones, toxic compounds, and endocrine disruptors across diverse biological systems. Engaged in international collaborative projects with researchers from Stockholm University (Sweden) and University of Aveiro (Portugal). Beyond the academia, is a dedicated mother to twins, Pedro (living with cerebral palsy), and João, who were born prematurely in 2014.
