Introduction
He is an senior researcher at the Hellenic Fisheries Research Institute since 2005 and has worked on research projects related to the fish fauna of freshwater and brackish systems and on ICZM. Recently, he finalized his doctoral thesis in the Department of Biological Applications and Technologies, University of Ioannina on "Morphological and Genetic analysis of River Nestos fish fauna species”.
