Introduction
My general interests are in community ecology, seed bank dynamics and germination response -especially of plants in semi-arid systems. I am particularly interested in patterns of biodiversity in species assemblages, and all of the processes that create these patterns, from small scale plant-plant interactions to human-induced landscape alterations.

The aim of this study is to experimentally evaluate the role of stochastic versus deterministic processes on plant community assemblage.
